A vision and strategy for growth.

This university ‘Centre for…..’ had been established and was half way through its first tranche of UK and European funding. The leadership team were keen to prepare for life after this initial funding – and ensure that the Centre became financially sustainable, with a mix of revenue streams (including from the private sector).

The Zuas team performed stakeholder and external interviews, worked with the team to collate information and insight on the external environment and the opportunities that were emerging, and analysed the capability of the Centre and the additional capability that might be added.

We facilitated a workshop where the team and key stakeholders discussed this material, and worked to clarify and re-state the vision, identify and confirm the key opportunities, and plan to build and deploy the capability to make it happen. After the workshop, we refined the output and allowed the team to reflect on it.

Our work resulted in the team being very well aligned, with a credible vision and strategy for growth, and clear communication of this to the centre’s employees.
