Vanessa Bailey

I bring energy and enthusiasm to innovation assignments across the university, private and public sectors. Within the university sector, I lead knowledge exchange strategy development and capability building initiatives, and deliver training and acceleration programmes. I believe in the power of creating and activating innovation ecosystems to address grand challenges, and have deployed this approach to address healthcare, sustainable energy, water and food production challenges.

I previously worked in change management roles in the public sector where I led strategic programmes to design and deliver efficient, effective and high quality services. I also worked in in R&D in the biotechnology sector. I completed a Master’s in Innovation & Design for Sustainability at Cranfield University, and also have a Master’s in Public Administration from Warwick University.
